Stained Glass - Music - Watercolours

My brain is no good for mathematical equation's, no good for spelling or literary greatness but, I do OK at arty things.  I was a professional musician from the age of 18 till I was 46.

I chose to put my glass first because it is visual:  THE DOOR:  Unfortunately I never got a shot of the finished door. It was totally designed and made by me, the second bottom pic in the door is incomplete.  The Art Deco panel on the right was for a 60's kitchen cabinet.  The Coffee Table Terrarium I still have at home.  The globe Terrarium has 144 pieces of glass in it and was quite a monster to make. And last a door panel

Above a somewhat younger me playing my Pedal Steel Guitar a rather complex instrument.  Let me explain:  there are 2 banks of 10 strings each tuned totally differently.  The top bank is called E9th tuning mostly used for country.  The back bank of strings are  tuned to C6 this is usually used for a much more jazz orientated sound.  Now the tricky bits there are 8 foot pedals they move different strings up or down, sometimes both at the same time.  One of the foot pedals moves 4 strings at the same time.  Sounds a little complex huh?  Not finished yet,  Next to both of my legs there are knee levers each side of both legs.  So when you are playing it is a combination of both hands, both feet and both knees and to top it off  I used to sing at the same time.

One of my watercolours they are all over the house, lots of family heirlooms here.

ANIMALS are our life

Both Robyn and I love our animals, Robyn is more of a cat person me, dogs.

Tigger our little fluffy grey cat, we rescued. We had a phone call from another carer asking us to to pick up a kitten before they threw it on the road.

So we went and picked her up, she sat in the palm of my hand. She is 12yrs now, a very shy cat but the dogs don't worry here, she walks up and gives them a head butt, just like Robyn does to me.

I sometimes wonder where our time goes?
